Stephen Brock

Steve Brock has combined a distinguished career in marketing and a formidable creative background to create Blue Bear LLC, the company that is reinventing website evaluation.

"Whether in art or business, I've always had an interest in finding out what inspires and motivates people. At Blue Bear, we've found that emotion is the driving force behind consumers' actions," says Brock. "It's our job to find out what they're feeling, understand why it's meaningful and translate that information into the specific steps a marketer needs to take to build stronger connections with their consumers online."

Blue Bear has taken website evaluation to a whole new level by combining proven market research techniques with groundbreaking technology that allows marketers to experience their website through the eyes and minds of their consumers.

Before launching Blue Bear, Steve spent two decades developing worldwide marketing strategies and repositioning top global brands.

From 1995 to 1999, Steve was Chief Marketing Officer at Baldwin Piano, where he was responsible for sales and marketing of musical product lines and new product development. Prior to Baldwin, Steve spent over ten years at Procter & Gamble Co., the last three as Marketing Director in Worldwide Strategic Planning, where he developed unconventional approaches to repositioning aging brands.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music and a Master of Fine Arts in Opera Performance from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Steve lives with his wife, Paula, and their two children, Alex and Leigh, in Cincinnati, Ohio where, in his spare time, he can be found playing the guitar, writing music and occasionally irritating neighbors with his talents as a classical singer.
